Funding is intended to support economic equity and social justice projects in the regions. Priority is given to projects that emphasize sustainable development. Eligible applicants must carry out community-based programs for poverty reduction in Latin America and Atlantic Canada.

Grants of up to $15,000 to USA, Canada, and International institutions and individuals for research and conservation projects related to wild cat species. Priority will be given to projects with a strong emphasis on conservation. Eligible proposals are those related to small cats species, namely all species of the family Felidae excluding the genera Panthera, Acinonyx, and the puma (Puma concolor).

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and Greece graduate students to conduct research and fieldwork at an institution in Greece. The purpose of the program is to support the work of overseas students conducting studies in ancient Greek law or Greek students conducting work on local excavations. Fellowships will take place at the American School for Classical Studies at Athens or at excavations affiliated with the institution.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International individuals for political research at the funding source's facility in Michigan. Funding is intended to offset the cost of travel within North America and living expenses while conducting research. Eligible research addresses topics related to US foreign policy, national and domestic politics, and federal policies.

Fellowships with a $5,000 stipend to USA, Canada, or international PhD or graduate students for research on aspects of Greek history. Funding is intended for the study of the Athenian Agora, and the stipend is structured to cover lodging, visas, board, travel, and other incidental costs. The purpose of the program is to support students who have a teaching or research interest in the subject. In addition to the stipend, fellows will have travel, accommodation, and meals covered by the program.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International doctoral students from any discipline to participate in a fellowship to explore themes related to political economy, including morality, markets, sociality, and culture. In addition to the $7,000 stipend, the fellowship includes travel and lodging to attend colloquia hosted by the Mercatus Center.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International graduate students to participate in a fellowship related to political economy. The purpose of the program is to offer opportunities for students to explore policy-relevant research, policy analysis, and other related topics.

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and International graduate students enrolled in accredited universities to participate in an online program to explore ideas and concepts related to political economy. Fellows may be studying a wide range of disciplines, including law, political science, economics, public policy, sociology, and history.

Grants of $250 and grants of $500 to USA and Canada young people for youth-led volunteer projects that address community needs. Funding is intended to support projects carried out by children and youth between the ages of 5 and 25 that provide opportunities for young volunteers from different social backgrounds to create meaningful connections with their peers, caring adults, and community partners, while developing social awareness and relationship skills. Projects must take place during Global Youth Service Day or Youth Service Month in the spring of 2025. $250 grantees will be required to engage at least 25 other youth as volunteers while $500 grantees have a 50-youth volunteer minimum requirement.

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and International researchers at universities, hospitals, and institutions for projects related to the study of cancer. The funding source encourages proposals addressing a broad range of cancer research, including theoretical and experimental research relevant to the study of cancer and the search for cancer causes, mechanisms, therapies, and prevention.

Funding is intended to enable First Nation leaders to implement programs and projects that are devoted to language revitalization efforts. The purpose of the program is to address disparities in the areas of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) or advanced urothelial carcinoma care. The research project must be conducted under the supervision of a mentor.

Grants of up to $20,000 and scholarships of up to $15,000 to British Columbia Indigenous artists and art students for professional development and post-secondary education opportunities. Funding is intended for artists and art students with a demonstrated commitment to creative expression in any artistic discipline. The purpose of the program is to help artists and aspiring artists develop their creative practice, connect with the First Nations community, and explore new approaches and techniques.

Grants of $3,500 to USA and Canada nonprofit organizations, government agencies, tribes, and K-12 public, private, and charter schools for new or existing gardening projects. Requests may be made for edible educational gardens that grow fruits, herbs, edible flowers, grains, and vegetables.

Grants of up to $20,000 and grants of up to $30,000 to British Columbia Indigenous music artists, recording engineers, and music industry professionals to support professional development, training, and mentorship programs. Funding is intended to enhance skills and knowledge and to provide networking and professional opportunities within the industry. Funding is intended for salary support to help increase the number of Indigenous students focusing on this area of research. Funding areas of interest include biomedical, clinical, health services, social, cultural, environmental, and population health research.

Grants of $40,000 per year to Canada Black doctoral students for heart, stroke, and brain research. Funding areas of interest include health services, clinical research, biomedical research, and health determinants. The purpose of the program is to promote strategic growth in heart and brain health science with Black communities by supporting Black students in pursuing their post-graduate studies.

Grants of $27,000 per year to Canada Black Master's students to pursue studies in the areas of brain, heart, and stroke research. Funding is intended to increase the number of Black individuals whose education focuses on vascular cognitive impairment, and stroke. Eligible use of funding is restricted to the student's salary.

Funding is intended for collaborative work that addresses gaps in care, has an immediate impact, and benefits community clinical practices.

Funding is intended to support non-interventional studies that further knowledge of non-small cell lung cancer. Eligible projects will shed light on integrin beta-6 (IB6) patterns of expression and clinical outcomes in NSCLC; or on sigvotatug vedotin’s (SV) preclinical activity in relevant tumor models.

Projects must be national in scope and include detailed methodology. Only research or public awareness proposals that address privacy issues in the private sector will be considered. Proposals that touch on issues falling within the federal public sector can be submitted, provided that the primary focus of the proposal deals with the private sector.

Eligible organizations are aligned with one of the following areas of interest: local community, water, and food. Funding is intended to address issues including hunger, agricultural education and development, habitat conservation, nutrient stewardship, watershed restoration, and sustainable communities.

Grants and in-kind support of camera equipment to USA, Canada, and International Black women photographers to support the advancement of their careers. Funding is available to offset the cost of business expenses and to facilitate the execution of a visual project. The equipment is intended to help photographers take their creativity to the next level.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International investigators and for-profit investigator entities for research to improve the lives of children with Sanfilippo syndromes. Funding is intended to improve understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and therapies for these syndromes. Two funding streams are available: pilot awards and advance awards.

Award of up to $5,000 to a USA, Canada, or International undergraduate activist in recognition of exceptional activities that promote the preservation of freshwater and marine resources. Eligible nominees have championed their cause and garnered peer support throughout the school year. In addition to the monetary prize, the winner will also receive mentorship from MCN and be partners for the academic year.

Grants of up to $3,500 to British Columbia registered charities to enhance the quality of life in eligible locations. Funding is intended for activities and programs in the focus areas of education and literacy; environment; historical, heritage, and conservation; arts and culture; health and community wellness; and seniors in need. Eligible programs promote the well-being of residents living in or near the City of Coquitlam.

Grants to British Columbia registered charities for projects to benefit local residents in eligible regions. Funding is intended for creative initiatives to benefit the Boundary region’s geographic area which includes the communities of Bridesville, Carmi, Westbridge, Beaverdell, Christian Valley, Rock Creek, Kettle Valley, Midway, Greenwood, Grand Forks, and Christina Lake.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International scientists at nonprofit institutions for medical research related to cancer prevention and treatment. Applicants are required to register in the grant system prior to submitting an application. Funding is intended to support innovative and creative projects that demonstrate a high level of scientific quality and transformative impact.

Grants to Canada IHE faculty members to partner with companies, researcher-owned companies, and early-stage investment groups to develop and transfer technology from colleges and universities to companies throughout the country. Funding is intended to support research and development projects that demonstrate technology transfer potential.

Grants of up to $75,000 and in-kind services to USA, Canada, and International startup companies to support business growth and development in Missouri. Funding is intended to recruit companies from a range of industries with the potential to strengthen the local economy, foster entrepreneurship, and revitalize the community. Companies must relocate to St. Louis, Missouri, for at least one year.

Grants to British Columbia registered charities for programs benefiting children and youth in eligible locations. Funding is intended for activities for children who face barriers to success. Activities and programs must involve one or more of the organization's objectives: access, skills, and safety. The program must operate exclusively in Vancouver and must benefit children and youth, under 19 years, living in poverty.

Grants of up to $30,000 to British Columbia registered charities and qualified donees for programs and projects that benefit local residents in eligible communities. Funding is intended to address the focus areas of culture, education, health, social, and environment. Eligible activities must benefit those living and working within the boundaries of the North Okanagan Regional District including all member municipalities.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International organizations and individuals for activities to reduce and eliminate the threat of nuclear weapons. Funding is intended to address regional conflicts, reduce nuclear threats, partner with like-minded social justice movements, and adopt transformational approaches that can challenge the nuclear policy status quo.

Grants of up to $8,000 to British Columbia municipalities and First Nations to hire grant writers for assistance with funding applications in eligible locations. Funds are intended to enable communities within the funding source’s service area to apply for financial assistance for economic development projects in Central and Northern British Columbia.

Grants of up to $50,000 to British Columbia local governments in eligible locations to enhance economic development activities and increase capacity-building efforts. Eligible uses of funds include staff expansion, third-party contracting, and consulting services. Applicants must be located within the Northern Development service region in central and northern British Columbia.
